WHAT IS A

SECULAR CEREMONY?

By definition,a secular ceremony is a non-religious ceremony, which can be celebrated during all major life events. It is not codified: everyone puts into it what they want and organizes its progress freely, thus building a celebration in their own image.A secular ceremony is devoid of legal value and only has a spiritual and symbolic dimension. A “yes” in front of the mayor therefore remains a necessary step to confirm your union in the eyes of the law.

We often associate secular ceremonies with "American-style" outdoor weddings, but you are free to choose a place that suits you, right down to the schoolyard where you met...

This symbolic celebration, also called engagement, is increasingly requested by couples who do not have religious convictions or who cannot get married in the Church for various reasons.

And the ceremonial officiant?

It's a bit like the spokesperson for two people who love each other. He is like aconductor on the big dayof marriage and ensures smooth running of the ceremony. The officiant writes the texts of each tailor-made ceremony with each couple he meets. No two ceremonies are alike except for the love that exudes!

On a first datewithout engagement, we try to know your story, talk about this highlight of the day in a wedding. The ceremony is amoment of sharing with the person we love but also with the loved ones who accompany us: it means expressing our emotions without restraint. Thus, we accompany you in this beautiful adventure of writing, sharing, passion and emotions. The ceremony includes, interventions, exchange of vows and alliances, one or morerituals chosen, all accompanied by your music.
